Window tanning! Much like water, glass magnifies and concentrates UV rays from the sun which can lead to sun burns on human skin. In short bursts though, it works as a very effective method of tanning. To combat the rise of sunburns from long distance car rides, a special chemical is added to window tint that blocks most UV radiation and protects human skin.
